DESCRIPTION:The AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies\, give high-quality chest compressions\, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.  Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines\, Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). \nThis is a very hands-on course.  Expect to deliver a lot of practice chest compressions and ventilation both as a team and solo. \nInstructor is Captain/EMT Rich Saalsaa\, Fire & Life Safety Officer from the Philomath Fire Department. \nThe cost of this course is $100 \nLunch is not included in this particular class. \nClick the link for the course agenda. \nBLS HCP Agenda 20220714
