SUMMARY:2027 Career Exploration Event
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, Knife River welcomes public and private high schools from across the region to participate in Career Exploration Events at the Knife River Training Center. \n\nThese interactive events are designed to give students and educators firsthand exposure to the wide variety of careers that help build and maintain strong communities. Participants engage in hands-on activities\, demonstrations\, and discussions with industry professionals while exploring opportunities in: \n\nConstruction and skilled trades\nProduction and materials operations\nEquipment operation\, maintenance\, and technical careers\nProfessional and business careers\nAdditional pathways that help build strong communities\n\nEach event is carefully planned to maximize student engagement and career awareness while helping schools connect classroom learning to real-world career opportunities. \n\n\n\nRegistration Information \n\nRegistration is available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Space is limited to: \n\nUp to six participating high schools per event\nUp to 20 junior\, senior\, or CTE/STEM students per school\nA minimum of two adult chaperones per school (required for full participation throughout the event)\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Details \n\n\nLunch is provided for all participants.\nTransportation and other school-related expenses are the responsibility of the participating school.\n\n\n\n\nInterested in Attending? \n\nTo request registration information or reserve a spot for your school\, please contact: \nKris Latimer\nkris.latimer@kniferiver.com
