SUMMARY:AHA First Aid
DESCRIPTION:AHA First Aid is a “hands-on” instructor-led course learning the critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid emergency within the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. \nLearn how to stop bleeding\, treat broken bones\, shock\, and sprains along with other first aid emergencies. \nWhat is unique about this course is it covers the use of EpiPen\, Narcan/Naloxone nasal spray and application of Tourniquets. \nThis class is hands-on with students practicing bandaging and treating simulated injuries on other students. \nCourse is 3 hours. \nCost is $55.00.  Lunch is not included. \nTravel Information:  Airports\, Hotels\, Shuttle and other Nearby Services – Travel Information – Knife River Training Center \nCancellation Policy: If\, for any reason\, you and/or any student(s) you’re registering cannot attend a class\, you’ll receive a full refund or are not charged if you cancel 14 days prior to the start of the scheduled class. Please call the Training Center Office to cancel or email alex.reyes@kniferiver.com \nIf you cannot cancel less than 14 days prior to the start of your scheduled class\, then 30% of your course fee is non-refundable.\nTransferring to another scheduled class must be made 14 days prior to the start of the scheduled class or may be subject to a transfer fee. \nStudent’s who do not show up for their registered course will forfeit all tuition.
